The job:
As a physical therapist with Professional Home Care Associates, you’ll share your expertise with colleagues and patients who truly appreciate the work you do. This unique PT-owned organization is known for its supportive, family-like atmosphere.

Why this is a dream job:
This job offers the flexibility, autonomy, and salary opportunities of an independent home health practice, combined with the stability offered by a growing company.

Types of patients and injuries you would work with:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work at the homes of patients with recent total joint replacements, as well as those who need therapeutic intervention to overcome poor strength, endurance, balance, ambulation skills, and difficulties with pain.

Word on the street — what your colleague has to say about this employer:
“With PHCA, we are treated as professionals with the freedom and autonomy to practice as our clinical judgment dictates. I have worked for a number of companies, but at PHCA I have the luxury to work as a patient advocate,” says Terry Moore, PT.

What you could do for fun if you lived here:
Whether you like to ski, surf, walk on the beach, go wine tasting, bike, hike, watch a professional sports team, attend a Broadway show, or just sit back and enjoy a year-round Mediterranean climate, you’ll find it all right here in Northern California.

What you would be paid:
PTs earn from $85,000 to $120,000 annually. Compensation packages include payment for each home visit with a $20 differential for opening a case, mileage allowance, and benefits that include a retirement plan and healthcare coverage.
