“We’re so glad we can offer such a valuable program like Versant to our new nurses,” Deborah Hilliard White, RN, Versant program coordinator, said in a news release. “Through the program, RN residents are supported — both professionally and emotionally — by a network of experienced senior nurses who act as preceptors and mentors. Versant gives them the skills they need to be successful, which ultimately benefits both PBGMC and our community.”
The 18-week Versant RN Residency program is designed to bridge the learning gap between traditional nursing educational institutions and real-world clinical settings. The program prepares new nurses for their first jobs through rigorous training.
